Autumn 2006
With a sight such as this in the garden, it is quite evident mother mature is busy making sure the plants are settling down for their winter hibernation. This is what the Hosta nursery
planter looks like at the moment. It is interesting to see how location
can influence the onset of senescence. We have 'Hyacinthina' for example in several locations in our yard. The ones in this planter were the first ones to show
the yellowing edges, back in early August, yet the big clump in the front yard showed none up until about 2 weeks ago.
