H. 'Permanent Wave'

Call the leaves pie-crusted, undulating, wavy, ruffled, whatever. It's a growth habit that makes any Hosta stand out from its plain-edge brethren, and one I have started to quite like. It's a trade acquisition for 2010. There isn't a lot to see yet though right after its arrival.

This leaf showed an interesting colour pattern when it was going into senescence, 10th of October 2010. You can clearly see the wavy edge that obviously lead to its name. Don't recall if it flowered that first year.
