H. 'Dorset Blue'

I knew as soon as I saw this particular variety that I'd had to have one. It's compact, it has a wonderful rich, glaucous blue colour and I'm a sucker for those types of leaves. This division came home with me July 6th, 2008, and of all the plants I got that day, this one and 'Chinese Sunrise' were the only ones that still had a legible label in the pot.

For some reason I don't seem to have but one picture of one of the divisions in 2009, this one here, from early May '09.

Unfortunately it didn't come back up in 2010, looked like a case of crown dry-rot....
